Authentic is the perfect word to describe my relationship with clients in my practice. Connecting with clients in a genuine and sincere fashion is my priority. This comes with a balance of working honestly and directly. It is through a safe, trustworthy and authentic relationship that clients get the most out of therapy. It also describes the journey I would like to offer to clients in therapy; a journey of finding their authentic selves. What this means is supporting clients in finding and aligning with their TRUE and GENUINE selves rather than fighting with other versions of themselves that they think they should be or that others think they should be. Clients who live authentically leave behind destructive patterns and create healthy, meaningful habits for life.

I currently charge $110/ hour for individual session and $130/ hour for family or couples session. I do offer a sliding scale rate in certain circumstances (ie financial hardship)- please inquire if needed. I accept checks, cash and credit card. There is a $3-$5 added processing fee when using a credit card so cash or check is encouraged. Payment is received at the beginning or end of each session unless otherwise arranged. I currently am paneled with CIGNA, MHN, HEALTHNET, BEACON HEALTH OPTIONS/ MILITARY ONE SOURCE, TRICARE, and AETNA. If your insurance is not listed I suggest that you contact your insurance carrier and inquire if they reimburse for “out of network” behavioral health or psychotherapy services. I can provide you with a receipt/superbill for your services which you can submit to your insurance company.
Benefits of Self-Pay
When using insurance benefits they are able to track, view and discuss any progress notes/ diagnosis and/or influence your length of treatment. Insurance companies also require medical diagnosis which can become a part of your permanent medical record. Self pay allows for an extra layer of privacy without having to worry about your insurance company’s involvement in treatment.
